Featured Couple: Jessica and Rami

It doesn’t look like it right now, but Toronto can also be a hot destination for non-locals to get married as well!

Sure, we don’t have the beach sand or the gorgeous mountains, but we have lots of other things to offer. Like Casa Loma, a 19th century castle in the heart of downtown Toronto, and the only one of its kind in the city. This is what attracted our lovely couple, Jessica and Rami, to wed at our beautiful fairytale landmark.

Both coming from New York state, Jess and Rami thought that having a wedding that was not too far for their guests, but also a place that is completely unique to them, would be perfect. They invited 150 of their favourite people to cross the border and to experience our multicultural, bustling city that resembled a smaller NYC.

Jessica had no official bridesmaids, but did have a group of girlfriends that she absolutely had to have with her during the getting ready portion of the day - and coincidentally (or not?) their outfits seemed to perfectly blend with the rest of the aesthetic of the wedding.

The florals and decor were outfitted by our floral studio, with a vision of crisp, clean white with blush and rose gold accents, and a mandatory request of phaleanopsis orchids to drip from all angles. As icing on the cake, each couple got a Kate Spade gift that was meticulously placed on the tables to greet them as they sat.

The whole day was captured beautifully by the talented team at Beautiful Life Studios, complete with sunset photos in front of the magnificent entrance of the castle.

Thanks to everyone that participated in this gorgeous affair for these out-of-towners - and hope they will come back to Toronto often and always remember our city fondly!
