What a day it was! Alicia and Vincent's wedding at Bellvue Manor in August was an unforgettable affair filled with love, laughter, and just a hint of scandalous secrets.
From the moment I stepped into Alicia's bustling family home, I knew it would be a day to remember. With the Italian hospitality in full swing, I lost count of how many times I was offered delicious homemade or ordered treats. Let's just say, my taste buds were in heaven!
But amidst all the delicious food and loving family members, one moment stood out above the rest: Alicia's first look with her dad. It was a touching moment that never fails to tug at the heartstrings. Seriously, I don't think there was a dry eye in the house.
The couple opted for a traditional Catholic ceremony, complete with a heartfelt mass that spoke volumes about their faith and commitment to each other.
Now, let's talk about the weather.
Oh boy, was it a scorcher! With temperatures soaring, One of their uncles couldn't handle the heat and ended up fainting during family photos. Talk about a dramatic way to head into the evening.
Despite the blistering heat, we managed to snap some stunning bridal party photos at Humber Arboretum. Although I must admit, I had to run around barefoot during set up due to the mountain-sized blisters my shoes gave me. Note to self: invest in better shoes for next time!
Once everyone had cooled off (both figuratively and literally), it was time to head to Bellvue Manor for cocktails and the grand entrance to end all grand entrances. Their MC certainly didn't hold back, spilling some juicy secrets about the bridal party that had everyone in stitches. I wish I was a fly on the wall when Alicia and Vincent re-watched that video!
The night was filled with heartfelt speeches from loving family members, a romantic first dance to Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love with You," and a touching speech from the newlyweds to kick off the dancing. It was a celebration of love, laughter, and happily ever afters.
