Vichy + Kirk - A Spring Wedding at the Manor

Hello, folks!

It has been a while since I have been on the blogosphere, I know. Things have been moving so fast and furious (moving into our first studio, working on our brand new rentals department, the usual stuff) that I hadn't had the chance to sit down and post some juicy photo goodness of some stunning weddings we did last year. So here it goes!

Vichy and Kirk approached me in spring of 2015, almost 1 year down to the day before their wedding, with big dreams about creating a beautiful, cherry-blossom themed wedding. The vision of pale pink and blush accenting the space was pretty strong, even when going to different venues across the GTA that all had different looks and feels. They chose the Manor by Peter and Paul up in Kettleby, 1 because the food was on point and 2, so was the natural nature settings for their ceremony.

While the setting was super elegant and formal, Vichy and Kirk were (are) a young, vibrant and fun-loving couple, so they incorporated some cool elements to make sure their guests had an awesome time. Drinks were served on the patio adjacent to the gazebo so they could experience the fresh spring air, and a pretty intense game of musical chairs (with added twist of scavenger hunt) was my first time seeing wedding guests so engaged and motivated that I feared my life when crowds of people ran across the dance floor in search of items. I still don't think that groomsmen got his shirt fixed / sewn up from literally ripping it off his back for a contestant!

Kudos also to Vichy's mom who handmade origami paper swans for every table which she started making at least 8 months before the wedding. I always value and appreciate things made purely out of love and devotion.

While the couple never did end up doing photos next to cherry blossoms to complete their "blossom theme" due to timing of the blooms, the photos from MPSG Weddings still captured the best in this lovely spring wedding, and especially from this gorgeous Kleinfeld bride and her beau.

Thanks to the talented vendor team that also helped to pull this off!
