Love Ya Like XO - Ray & Cody’s Beyoncé-Themed Wedding

Get ready to dive into the love-filled world of Ray and Cody's wedding at Second Floor Events! Raynard

and Cody had their wedding on June 11, 2022. From the get-go, these two were friendly, organized, and head over heels in love. Seriously - you should see how they look at each other - they're just hopelessly gazing. Throw in their Beyoncé-themed wedding and I was ALL in!

In the immortal words of Beyoncé, "Your love is bright as ever," and that couldn't be truer for Ray and Cody. Their big day was like something out of a fairy tale, with not a single hiccup in sight (this never happens!). From their stunning photo session in the Distillery District, complete with iconic landmarks (the big red love heart and lock LOVE sign), and Beyoncé-style fans, to the heartfelt ceremony infused with Filipino wedding traditions, every moment was pure magic.

What struck me most was the depth of meaning woven into their ceremony. The unity candle, veil, cord, and coins, all symbolized their commitment to each other and their community. Watching their individual candles merge into a single, brighter light was a moment I'll never forget. I am known to shed a tear or two during weddings, and this was definitely one of those moments.

Planning Ray and Cody’s wedding was an absolute blast and definitely a family affair. From their wedding rehearsal, it was evident how much love surrounded them. Their families made me feel like I was a part of the family. After navigating some logistics, timelines, and setups, they dubbed me their "fairy godmother," a nickname I wear with pride! Seriously - I need to make myself a sweater.

Ray and Cody's wedding wasn't just a celebration – it was a love story for the ages. Being a part of their special day was an honour, and I'll forever cherish the memories we made together. Here's to love, laughter, and happily ever afters!
