All I can say is, it was amazeballs!

Hey! I’m Haley, a Senior Coordinator here at Envision Weddings.

On January 12th - 14th I had the pleasure of being an exhibitor at the London Bridal Expo!

I joined the Envision team 4.5 years ago as a seasonal event assistant. Through COVID my role transitioned into Assistant to the CEO, and after 18 months, I became a Senior Coordinator.

This year I welcomed the opportunity to become the Chief Development of Events in Western Ontario. Not only does that mean that I take on all the inquiries from London, Windsor, Sarnia, Stratford, Cambridge, K-W, etc, I also have been visiting venues and networking with other vendors in the area. To gain traction from Western Ontario couples, it was decided that attending the London Bridal Expo would be a great start!

Preparing for the bridal show was a labour of love. In the weeks leading up to the show, Kimberly (Envision’s CEO) and I curated the perfect plan to wow our potential clients. With a divided to-do list and a brainstormed booth design, we set out to make it as warm and welcoming as possible. Staged with benches, a pink fluffy carpet, coffee tables,

past wedding artwork, the Envision Weddings 2024 promo video, a copper arch with florals and 30 lanterns equipped with fairy lights, our booth turned into a mini studio to welcome guests in and get to know us.

Congratulations to Andrea Dillon for winning our booth’s Lantern Display draw!

At the show, each exhibitor also had the opportunity to provide a prize that attendees could win during the show hours. I made sure that this basket was filled with items that I would have loved to win as a to-be-married couple.

Congratulations to Marissa Dower for winning our expo prize basket!

Reminiscing about the day, and one challenge we faced was something of a good thing. By the end of day one of the Expo, we had completely run out of our “mini emergency kit” thank you favours and all of our information pamphlets. I was so proud of myself and the team for talking to enough people, to be completely out, and this was nothing a late-night, snack-filled assembly session couldn’t fix.

As an expo exhibitor, I was pleasantly surprised by how many fellow vendors I already personally knew, or had the pleasure of meeting through site visits and vendor networking. There was also a sense of community when meeting new vendors who matched my energy and love for the event industry. Shout out to Alana and Kylie from @thespringsrestaurant for being the best booth neighbours.

Throughout the show I was in my element, meeting eager couples while sharing my expertise and hearing their love stories. I am a sucker for love, and couples WILL find me shedding a tear when they share their first dance, or do anything remotely cute at their wedding.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the love and support of Kim, Mike and the Envision team. Together we are a powerhouse, and as individuals we are amazeballs.

In case you’re new here, or just need a refresher, I offer 1 & 2 month coordination packages, as well as partial planning, with a team behind me who can extend those services to full planning, destinations, and floral design.

Just remember, I’m Haley. I will corral your family for you, match your excitement if not exceed it and pick up the phone to call you if I think you are having even a stitch of anxiety. My literal job is to take all the stress of planning and executing your wedding off your plate, so you can relax and enjoy your special day.

XO

Haley
