Featured Couple: Jessica and Chris

This week we are featuring Jessica and Chris, who got married last summer at the Archeo in the beautiful Distillery District. From the start Jess and Chris were incredibly easy going, happy to hear any suggestions and just excited for their big day. Their big day was a long time coming as they had dated previously and reconnected years later which finally led to tying the knot.

Their ceremony took place on the patio of the Archeo where Jess walked towards a copper arch decorated with lush florals. Might I just add that the arch was impressively made by the grooms family. Both sides were eager to help whenever needed. Their reception space which was only a short walk from the patio to dining room. The reception was filled with blush and ivory florals- huge shout out to Rylea Bloom who created the most gorgeous hanging flower arrangement which was suspended over the head table. The rest of the decor was set up by our team, I went to each place setting tying a kate spade inspired ribbon over the menu cards. Yes, monotonous.. but it really tied everything together, I always like to say its the little details that make up the big picture.

The rest of the evening was filled with speeches, laughs and most importantly lots and lost of love (super cheesy I know hehe).

Jessica and Chris' big day will always be near and dear to my heart as this is the wedding where I made the decision that this was the path I wanted to walk down. Yes, weddings are crazy and can be stressful but they are also filled with so much beauty and joy and I feel very lucky to have found something I am so passionate about at my age.

Thank you to all the vendors that helped make this day amazing.
