Personal Touches to your Signature Cocktail

"CLINK, CLINK, CHEERS!"

A sound that you will hear quiet frequently throughout the night. Whether it be toasting to the happy couple, shared drinks between friends, or a knife clinking a glass for the newlyweds to kiss ... then why not put a drink in their hands that has a flavour and meaning behind it. Your wedding day should reflect who you are as a couple and what better way to do that then ALCOHOL! It may be your favourite drink, your first drink, or a drink you shared with your friend or partner over a memorable night.

Either way, everyone likes a good story so why not make it that much more memorable and have it in the

hands of your guests on your special day. If you're not sure where to start, here are some tips on choosing your perfect signature cocktail.

Alcohol of Choice:

Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Gin, Whisky. The possibilities are endless. Choose your fave flavour.

His & Hers Cocktails:

If you are already confused, no need to stress; now you have just doubled your options. Pick your favourite cocktail and one for your fiancé that way guests have two options to choose from.

Your Colour Scheme:

Incorporate your wedding colour palette into your drink. Whether it be a garnish, accent, straw colour, napkin or drink itself to coincide the ambience of your venue.

Seasonal Flair:

Keep in mind the season you are getting married. There can be seasonal fruits that can be incorporated into the drink that would be fitting to your theme

Be Creative.

If you are using a classic drink such as a rum & coke or an old-fashioned spice up the name to reflect your personality (guests will enjoy ordering it from the bar too).

The Love Potion:

The best way to personalize your signature cocktail is to have a meaning and story behind it. It could possibly be a drink that you two shared on your first date, while on vacation, or the drink you had the day he proposed.

Either way, make it a happy memory to share with your guests and I will assure you that they will appreciate it and it will taste that much more flavourful.

Happy Planning!
